The GLBTT* Sexual Health Promotion Coalition has participated in a number of campaigns to promote healthy sexuality.
BUD “The Blow Up Doll” with safe sex smarts
An entertaining, non-judging “mascot” for the GLBTT* Sexual Health Promotion Coalition, BUD - a blow up doll - shares his sexuality smarts through ads, videos and live appearances at venues in Winnipeg and Brandon.
This successful campaign for the MSM community started with a focus on promoting safer sex practices and reducing rates of STIs.
The campaign is growing, along with the Coalition’s mandate, to achieve these goals by recognizing the broad areas of health that affect healthy sexuality. This includes addressing things like emotional health, social health, other health issues and scenarios and circumstances that may lead to the practice of unsafe sex.
